Located in the heart of Botwnnog, Congl Menciau Enterprise Centre offers office space and business resources in the heart of Pen Llŷn to support local businesses.

The Center, which is managed by Grŵp Cynefin, opened in 2011, with financial support from Grŵp Cynefin, the Welsh Government and the European Regional Development Fund.

It has come as a result of the hard work of local individuals and organisations over many years that saw the need to create a space in Pen Llŷn to stimulate, support and facilitate enterprise locally.

It has 12 offices and 2 workshops for hire, meeting rooms, a café with free wi-fi and hot desking facilities.

Darren Morley is the Manager at Congl Meinciau. This is what he had to say about his work:

I’ve been working here since 2016 and as well as managing the center, I offer business advice through the Enterprise HWB scheme, the Welsh Government’s business support scheme.

We currently have many different companies in the offices – from a company that produces children’s underpants on site to companies that make goats’ milk soap, a marketing company and a computer science company.

I’m also very proud that all of the companies are run by local people – which was, of course, one of the main goals when the Center was set up.
