Grŵp Cynefin holds its AGM for 2024
Grwp Cynefin held a successful annual meeting on Monday (September 23). The event was opened and everyone was welcomed by Board of Management Chair, Tim Jones. Mel Evans, Chief Executive of Grŵp Cynefin, said that it needed to be acknowledged that it has been a difficult year for the group, but the positive side was that it had highlighted our strength as Grŵp Cynefin.
“There are very special people, skills and spirit here. And we can now look forward,” he said.
“We have already started the important work of creating a Corporate Plan 2025-2029 together, a collaboration between staff, tenants, board members and customers. And this is how I want to see things happen in the future. I want this to set a precedent. I want to create a culture of open collaboration, with the energy that comes with that, and enthusiasm for our work.
“On our tenth anniversary, we should be proud of what we have achieved in the last ten years. And proud that exciting times lie ahead for the next decade.”
These was a positive challenge from guest speaker Dyfed Edwards Chair of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, to work together for the benefit of tenants and customers.
“Your tenants are our patients; your housing development is our better health. There is no difference, we are the one and the same, when serving our people. The citizen first, the citizen at the centre.
“So, in this spirit of collaboration and initiative, I’m setting us all the challenge to encourage each other, to support each other and come together with possibilities.”
