Partnership working to renovate homes in Cricieth
When partnerships are formed, great things can happen! Our development in Abereistedd, Cricieth, is the result of close collaboration and careful planning, which took into account neighbours, and existing tenants who lived in the building during the development.
The building has now been renovated to a high standard, and its exterior appearance is in keeping with the seaside town of Cricieth.
Arwyn Evans, Head of Development at Grŵp Cynefin, said:
“There are a lot of considerations when it comes to starting on a renewal programme such as this. I’d like to say a big thank you for the close collaboration behind the project. The timetable was tight and there were several additional considerations – so thanks to our partners Cyngor Gwynedd and Welsh Government, to the main contractor, Novus, for their commendable work, and to Mott MacDonald, CYD Innovation and Snowdonia Fire and Security for their crucial work.
“Providing high quality homes is a priority for Grŵp Cynefin, and we are extremely proud of the work that’s been done here to provide our tenants with warm, safe homes.”
In addition to the association’s funding, the development was supported by grants from Cyngor Gwynedd and the Welsh Government.
