Grŵp Cynefin wins for giving tenants’ voices a platform

Grŵp Cynefin has won a special award for their work to ensure tenants’ voices are heard in shaping their services and policies, elements that have a positive impact on tenants and their homes.

The group’s Communities Initiatives Team won first prize at the TPAS Cymru Good Practice Awards in Cardiff (Wednesday, July 3) in the ‘Tenant’s Voice’ category for their work encouraging tenants to get involved.

The TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service) Cymru Good Practice Awards are held annually to celebrate the exceptional achievements in tenant participation and engagement in Wales.

“We’re really proud to receive this award,” says Ffion Pittendreigh, Grŵp Cynefin’s Community Initiatives Manager. “It’s a reflection of our dedication as a team, and wider as Grŵp Cynefin, to creating a culture where tenants’ voices are heard and valued. This includes virtual and face-to-face meetings, committee membership and various events.

“We listen to our tenants and our work is proof of this. Thank you to our tenants for contributing so willingly and enthusiastically. It’s vital to our work, and we look forward to further building on this success and working together to improve our services and communities.”
