Policies
We want to be open about how we work and want to share our policies with you.
Welsh Language Scheme
We have adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business in Wales, we will treat the English and Welsh languages equal.
Complaints Policy
We are committed to putting our customer first and improving the quality of our services and our customers’ experiences.
We welcome receiving the views of our customers. Complaints are important to us to highlight what we are doing well and where we need to focus on making improvements to future services.
Data Protection Policy
For us to do our job as a housing association we collect and store personal information about our tenants, other people living in our houses and housing applicants.
This information (from tenancy forms, officer interviews etc) is called ‘personal data’. The law gives you the right to know what information we hold about you, and we are required to use it fairly and appropriately in ways that you understand. You can also ask us to correct the information if it is incorrect.
Equality and Diversity Policy
We are committed to ensuring and promoting equality and diversity for all employees and all the services across Grŵp Cynefin in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. We will seek to ensure that people are not subject to age discrimination or harassment on grounds of disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnerships, pregnancy and maternity, race (including colour, ethnicity and nationality), religion and belief, gender and sexual orientation.
Privacy Notice
Our Privacy Notice is a public document available to anyone and applies to Grŵp Cynefin customers to explain how the organisation collects and processes personal information in order to conduct normal business activities as a charitable housing association in the United Kingdom.
We are a Registered Social Landlord regulated by the Welsh Government. (Also available in easy read format)
Whistleblowing Policy
Grŵp Cynefin is committed to the highest standards of openness, probity and accountability and we expect all staff to maintain high standards.
However, all organisations face the risk of things going wrong from time to time, or of unknowingly harbouring illegal or unethical conduct. As employees are often the first to realise that there may be something seriously wrong, Grŵp Cynefin expects those who have serious concerns about any aspect of our work to come forward and speak up without fear of reprisal.
Therefore, we recognise that it is an important aspect of accountability and transparency to provide a mechanism to ensure that no employee or worker of Grŵp Cynefin feels at a disadvantage in raising legitimate concerns and that is why we have this Whistleblowing Policy.
